Kid Contests

Kids contests are designed to include our next generation (18 years old or younger). Each contest will be judged together as one group. All entries must reflect both agriculture and faith and will be judged on originality and creativity. First place in each contest will be featured in the upcoming edition of Salt & Saddle Living and receive a free copy of the publication in which they are featured.

Drawing Contest

• Artwork must be no larger than 11” x 8”
• Must be completed by hand (no digital entries)
  

Writing Contest

• 150 words or less (handwritten by child + include a typed copy for legibility)
  

Recipe Contest

• Recipe must be original and created by the child
  

Photo Contest

• Photo must be taken by the child with no filters
• Photo must be posted publicly (Instagram - Audience "Everyone" OR Facebook - Who can see your post? "Public")
• Post on social media and include caption “(child name) is entering the Salt & Saddle Living kids photo contest. Think he/she will win? #SSLiving @saltandsaddleliving”

"This is the Life" Reader Photos

Gain exposure by sharing your photo for the chance to be featured in the upcoming edition of Salt & Saddle Living.

• Photo must be posted publicly (Instagram - Audience "Everyone" OR Facebook - Who can see your post? "Public")
• Post the photo on social media and include caption “This photo represents faith in agriculture to me and I'm submitting to be featured in @saltandsaddleliving #SSLiving”
